The NVIDIA (Mellanox) MMS4X00-NM-T is a twin-port single-mode fiber (SMF) optical transceiver supporting up to 800Gb/s (2x400GbE) in an OSFP form factor. It operates at 1310nm over single-mode fiber for links up to 500m using dual MPO connectors. Powered at 3.3V with 16W power dissipation, it is built for high-density data-center networking.
This transceiver is used in hyperscale and enterprise data centers to interconnect switches and servers at 800Gb/s over single-mode fiber. Network architects deploy it for high-bandwidth 400GbE breakout and spine-leaf links spanning up to 500m.
