The NVIDIA (Mellanox) MMS4A20-XM800 is a single-port DR4 single-mode parallel optical transceiver supporting up to 800Gb/s in an OSFP form factor. It operates at 1310nm over single-mode fiber for reaches up to 500m using an MPO/APC connection. Powered at 3.3V (3.135V to 3.465V) with 18W power dissipation, it is designed for high-density data-center links.
This transceiver connects switches and servers at 800Gb/s over single-mode fiber in hyperscale and AI/HPC data-center fabrics. Network engineers deploy it for high-bandwidth DR4 links spanning up to 500m between racks and rows.
