The San Disk SDINBDA6-128G-XI1 is a 128GB e.MMC 5.1 managed NAND device from the Industrial series, in a 153-ball FBGA package. The integrated eMMC controller performs error correction, wear leveling and bad-block management, so the host addresses the flash as a simple block device. The SDINBDA6-128G-XI1 runs at up to 200M Hz over a 2.7V to 3.6V supply, is rated at up to 310MB/s transfer with write speeds up to 150MB/s, and operates from -40C to 85C.
At 128GB, industrial eMMC is used where a soldered device must hold an operating system plus substantial local data: map and media libraries, video buffers, logged sensor history or cached application content. Typical designs include automotive infotainment and telematics, digital signage and kiosks, medical imaging front ends, edge AI gateways and ruggedized handhelds. The -40C to 85C rating is what separates this part from consumer eMMC, and it is usually the requirement that drives the design-in.
