The NVIDIA MSN2201-CB2FC is a Spectrum-based 1U open Ethernet switch, part of the Mellanox-branded SN2000 line, shipped with Cumulus Linux as the network operating system. It provides 52 ports across RJ45 and QSFP port types, supporting 1GBASE-T host connectivity together with 25 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s uplink rates. The unit uses active fan cooling with power-to-connector (P2C) airflow, dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies, and draws up to 200 W. It is rated for 0 C to +45 C operation with a 200, 000 hour MTBF.
A switch combining many 1GBASE-T copper access ports with 100 Gb/s QSFP uplinks is deployed as a management and out-of-band network switch in data centre racks, and as a top-of-rack access switch for servers and appliances that do not need high-speed host ports. The open networking model lets operators run Cumulus Linux and manage the switch with the same automation tooling used for servers. Typical users include cloud and hyperscale operators, HPC and AI cluster builders, and enterprise data centre teams. Dual redundant power supplies and the 200, 000 hour MTBF target continuously operating installations.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
