The CS43198-CNZ is a 32-bit digital-to-analogue converter from Cirrus Logic with voltage output, supplied in a 40-pin WFQFN package. It integrates two converters and is configured over an I2C control interface while accepting audio data on an I2S port. Supply voltage spans 1.66V to 5.25V and the device is rated for -10°C to 70°C commercial-temperature operation.
The CS43198-CNZ converts digital audio streams into analogue line-level or headphone-drive signals in equipment where playback fidelity is the product differentiator. The I2S input and I2C control pairing is the standard arrangement for an audio codec path driven by an applications processor or SoC.
