The PESD2IVN24-T is a 2-channel bidirectional ESD suppressor and TVS diode array from Nexperia in a 3-pin SOT-23 package. It has a 24V reverse standoff and working voltage, a 30.5V breakdown voltage, a 42V clamping voltage, and handles a 3.5A peak pulse current. Capacitance is 17pF per line. The device is rated -55C to 150C, is RoHS compliant, is in current production, and ships on tape and reel at 3, 000 per reel. Two channels in one package protect a differential pair or two single-ended lines from a single footprint.
TVS and ESD suppression diodes are placed at the point where a signal or supply line leaves the board so that an electrostatic discharge or a switching transient is clamped before it reaches the controller or transceiver behind it. A bidirectional 24V part suits lines that swing both polarities and rails above the usual 3.3V and 5V logic levels: automotive and industrial 12V and 24V supply inputs, CAN and LIN and RS-485 buses, sensor and actuator interfaces, and connector-facing I/O on control modules. The 24V standoff means it will not conduct during normal operation on those rails, and the two channels cover a differential pair from one footprint. Buyers are OEM hardware design teams, Tier 1 automotive suppliers, and industrial equipment makers, along with their contract manufacturers.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
