The SRDA3.3-4.TBT is a Semtech Rail Clamp low-capacitance TVS diode array from the SRDA series, protecting four channels in a SOIC-8 package. It is a unidirectional device with a 3.3 V reverse standoff voltage, 3.5 V minimum breakdown, 15 V clamping voltage and just 8 pF of capacitance per channel. Semtech rates the SRDA3.3-4.TBT for 500 W peak pulse power and 25 A peak pulse current, with 1 uA maximum reverse leakage, and it also provides power line protection. The part measures 5 mm x 4 mm x 1.5 mm, is lead free and RoHS compliant, is rated -55 C to +85 C, and is currently listed at Obsolete lifecycle status.
Low-capacitance TVS arrays sit at exposed ports and clamp electrostatic discharge and surge transients before they reach a transceiver, without adding enough loading to close a high-speed eye diagram. With four unidirectional channels at 3.3 V standoff and 8 pF, the SRDA3.3-4.TBT suits data and interface lines on USB, Ethernet, video and general 3.3 V I/O connectors, and its power line protection capability lets one part cover both data and rail entry points. It is used in networking equipment, set-top boxes, industrial I/O modules, instrumentation and consumer devices. Note that this part is listed at Obsolete lifecycle status, so buyers are typically sustaining existing builds or sourcing last-time-buy inventory rather than designing it in new.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
