- NVIDIA Networking Cable Assembly
The NVIDIA MFP7E10-N005 is a 5m passive fiber cable assembly terminated with MPO12 APC connectors on both ends, running over multimode fiber (MMF) at 850nm. An APC (angled physical contact) endface reduces back reflection compared with a flat polish, which is why it is specified on high-rate optical links. The MFP7E10-N005 supports data rates up to 400GbE and carries no active electronics, so it introduces no power draw or transceiver dependency of its own.
MPO12 multimode trunk cables are the standard interconnect for parallel optics inside a datacenter row: linking 400G transceivers between leaf and spine switches, connecting GPU compute nodes to the network fabric in AI clusters, patching between structured-cabling panels, and building short-reach Infini Band or Ethernet links where single-mode optics would be unnecessary cost. The 5m length targets in-rack and adjacent-rack runs. Buyers are typically datacenter and AI cluster build teams, network engineers, and integrators specifying NVIDIA networking hardware.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
