The Silicon Labs CP2102N-A02-GQFN28R is a single-port USB-to-UART bridge controller in a 28-pin WFQFN package measuring 800um in height. It supports USB 2.0 at a 12Mbps data rate and operates over a listed 1.71V to 5.25V supply range. The CP2102N-A02-GQFN28R is rated -40C to 85C with a 105C maximum junction temperature and is listed in production status.

A USB-to-UART bridge converts a host USB port into a standard serial port so a microcontroller with only a UART can talk to a PC without a legacy RS-232 connector. Designers use these devices for firmware programming and debug headers, factory test fixtures, instrument and point-of-sale interfaces, and USB serial adapters. The -40C to 85C rating and small QFN footprint make this part common in industrial gateways and embedded modules where the serial console must survive wide ambient temperatures.

Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
