The San Disk SDINBDG4-8G-I1 is an 8GB e.MMC 5.1 managed NAND device from the Industrial series, in a 153-ball FBGA package. The integrated eMMC controller handles error correction, wear leveling and bad-block management, presenting the flash to the host as a simple block device. The SDINBDG4-8G-I1 runs at up to 200M Hz over a 2.7V to 3.6V supply, is rated at up to 300MB/s transfer with write speeds up to 40MB/s, and operates from -25C to 85C.
An 8GB eMMC is sized to hold an operating system, application stack and configuration data rather than bulk media, so it is used as the boot device in cost-sensitive embedded designs. Typical applications include industrial HMIs and PLCs, networking equipment, IoT gateways, digital signage controllers and automotive accessory electronics. The industrial temperature rating separates this part from consumer eMMC, and because the device is soldered down and firmware-qualified, engineering teams specify the exact MPN rather than substituting on capacity alone.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
