The EMMC04G-MT32-01G10 is a Kingston 4 GB (32 Gbit) managed NAND device conforming to the eMMC 5.1 specification with HS400 mode support, organized as 4G x 8 and supplied in a 153-ball VFBGA. eMMC is managed NAND: the flash array and a controller handling error correction, wear levelling and bad-block management are packaged together, so the host sees a simple block device rather than raw NAND. Kingston rates the EMMC04G-MT32-01G10 at up to 200 MHz on an 8-bit data bus, operating from a 3.3 V nominal supply across a 2.7 V to 3.6 V range with up to 74.43 mA supply current. The package measures 13 mm x 11.5 mm with a 500 um ball pitch and 800 um maximum seated height, and the part is RoHS and China RoHS compliant over a -25 C to +85 C operating range.

eMMC is the default onboard storage for embedded systems that need a bootable file system without the cost or board area of an SSD, and without the host having to implement a raw NAND flash translation layer. A 4 GB device like the EMMC04G-MT32-01G10 comfortably holds an embedded Linux or Android image plus application data, which is why this density is common in IoT gateways, industrial HMIs, set-top boxes, digital signage, networking equipment and single-board computers. HS400 support matters where boot time and application load speed are visible to the user. Typical buyers are embedded system and module OEMs specifying soldered-down storage for products with long service lives.

Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
