The Finisar FTLX8574D3BCV is a 10G SFP+ optical transceiver module using an 850nm VCSEL for multimode fiber. It supports 10GBASE-SR/SW and 1000BASE-SX dual-rate operation up to 10.3 Gbps over an LC duplex connector.
10G SFP+ SR transceivers are used for short-reach optical links over multimode fiber within data centers and enterprise networks. Network operators use them for switch-to-switch and switch-to-server 10-gigabit connectivity.
