The Taiyo Yuden LMK107BBJ226MA-T is a 22uF multilayer Ceramic Capacitor rated at 10V DC with a 20% tolerance, using a high-dielectric X5R ceramic in an 0603 case. Reaching 22uF in an 0603 requires a high-permittivity Class 2 formulation, so effective capacitance falls substantially under applied DC bias and varies across temperature - the standard tradeoff for dense ceramic bulk capacitance. The chip has a 1mm maximum height and is specified from -55C to 85C. It is RoHS compliant and supplied 4000 per tape and reel.

22uF is among the highest capacitance available in an 0603 footprint, and it is specified as bulk input and output capacitance on point-of-load buck converters and LDOs feeding 1.0V to 5V rails, as the local energy reservoir on processor, DDR and FPGA supplies that take large transient load steps, and as holdup capacitance on plug-in modules. It is routinely used in place of a tantalum or polymer electrolytic where very low ESR, low height and freedom from any wear-out mechanism matter more than absolute capacitance stability. The 85C ceiling of the X5R dielectric is the specification to check against enclosure temperature, since an X7R part is required above that. As with any high-value Class 2 ceramic the effective capacitance on a live 5V rail sits well below the marked 22uF, which is why designers place two or three in parallel rather than trust the printed value.
