The NVIDIA MFP7E10-N015 is a 15m passive multimode fiber cable assembly with MPO12 APC connectors on both ends, built on OM3 multimode fiber. It supports data rates up to 400GbE and Infini Band NDR at an 850nm wavelength. The MFP7E10-N015 has a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket, listed as OFNR material, a 7.5mm minimum bend radius, and is rated for -10C to 70C operation.
MPO12 trunk cables carry the eight or twelve parallel fiber lanes that a 400G SR8 or Infini Band NDR transceiver needs, replacing individual duplex patch cords with a single connectorized assembly. They are used for switch-to-switch uplinks, GPU fabric interconnects and structured cabling between racks inside a data hall, where the 15m length covers in-row and adjacent-rack runs. AI cluster and data center cabling teams order matched transceiver and cable part numbers together, since connector type, polarity and fiber grade all have to agree end to end.
