The Finisar FTLF8536P5BCL is a 25G SFP28 optical transceiver module supporting 25GBASE-SR short-reach links up to 100m. It uses an 850nm VCSEL transmitter with a PIN receiver, a duplex LC connector, and digital diagnostics, operating from a 3.3V supply. The FTLF8536P5BCL supports 25G Ethernet, 10G Ethernet, and eCPRI/CPRI wireless fronthaul.
This transceiver is used for short-reach 25G optical links in data-center switches, servers, and wireless fronthaul equipment. Its multimode SR reach suits top-of-rack to server and intra-rack connections over duplex fiber. eCPRI/CPRI support also makes it a fit for 5G radio-access fronthaul deployments.
