The NVIDIA (Mellanox LinkX) MMA2P00-AS is a 25GbE SR optical transceiver module in the SFP28 form factor for multi-mode fiber. As part-number MMA2P00-AS, it supports 25GBASE-SR at up to 25Gb/s over 850nm with a duplex LC connector, reaching 100m and operating from 3.3V across a 0degC to 70degC range.
The MMA2P00-AS is used to build 25GbE short-reach optical links over multi-mode fiber in data-center top-of-rack and aggregation networks. Its SFP28 form factor plugs into compatible switches and NICs for high-density connectivity. Network architects deploy it for cost-effective 25G interconnects up to 100m.
