The onsemi BAT54CLT1G is a dual Schottky barrier diode array in a common-cathode configuration, packaged in a 3-pin SOT-23. Each element is rated at 200 mA average rectified current with a 30 V maximum repetitive reverse voltage, a 240 mV forward voltage, and 5 ns reverse recovery time. The BAT54CLT1G handles 600 mA peak non-repetitive surge current, dissipates up to 225 mW, and is rated for -55°C to 125°C with a 150°C maximum junction temperature.
Schottky Diodes conduct with a much lower forward voltage than standard silicon PN junction diodes and recover far faster, which makes them the default choice for low-voltage rectification, freewheeling, and signal clamping. A common-cathode pair in one SOT-23 is most often used for input protection clamps on I/O and interface lines, for ORing two low-voltage supplies, and for steering logic in switching regulator and charge-pump circuits.
