The Renesas PS2802-4-F3-A is a high isolation voltage 4-channel photocoupler with Darlington transistor outputs in a 16-pin surface-mount package. It offers 2.5kV isolation, a current transfer ratio of up to 2000%, a 40V output voltage rating, and up to 100mA output current per channel. The device is RoHS compliant, lead free, and rated for -55°C to 100°C operation.
The PS2802-4-F3-A is used where isolated signals must be driven from very low input currents, as its high current transfer ratio allows small LED drive currents to switch meaningful loads. Typical applications include industrial control and PLC I/O, isolated relay and solenoid drivers, telecom interfaces, and power supply feedback and monitoring.
