The Nexperia PESD1LIN,115 is a single-channel bidirectional ESD suppressor diode designed for LIN bus protection, in a 2-pin SOD-323 package. It has a 24V reverse standoff voltage with a 27.8V breakdown, clamps at 70V and absorbs 3A peak pulse current, presenting 13pF of capacitance to the protected line. The PESD1LIN,115 is rated to a 150°C junction temperature. It is RoHS compliant and shipped on tape and reel in 3000-piece quantities.
LIN is the low-speed single-wire vehicle bus used for body electronics: door modules, mirrors, seat and window motors, climate flaps, interior lighting and rain sensors. Those nodes sit on long harness runs that pick up transients, so a bidirectional suppressor is fitted at the bus pin of each transceiver. Automotive Tier 1 module designers are the primary buyers.
