The Texas Instruments TPS22965DSGR is a single-channel high-side load switch (power-distribution switch) rated for up to 6A. It supports input voltages from 0.8V to 5.7V with a low 25mΩ on-state resistance and a 2.2ms turn-on delay. The TPS22965DSGR is housed in a WSON surface-mount package.
This load switch is used to power-gate individual subsystems, turning rails on and off to manage current and reduce standby power. Its low on-resistance and 6A rating suit switching processor cores, memory, and peripheral rails in consumer and industrial boards. The controlled turn-on delay helps limit inrush current during power sequencing.
