The SN74LVC1G123DCUR is a Texas Instruments single retriggerable monostable multivibrator, or one-shot, with Schmitt-trigger inputs, supplied in an 8-pin VSSOP package. It takes two inputs and produces one output pulse whose width is set by an external timing network, and retriggering restarts the pulse rather than allowing it to expire. TI specifies the SN74LVC1G123DCUR over a 1.5 V to 5.5 V supply range with plus/minus 32 mA output drive, 8.2 ns propagation delay and 20 uA quiescent current. A retriggerable one-shot converts an edge into a fixed-width pulse, so it is used for pulse stretching, debouncing, watchdog and missing-pulse detection, timing delays and generating clean reset or strobe signals.
