The Texas Instruments LMK00804BPWR is a low-skew 1-to-4 fanout buffer that accepts a multiplexed differential or LVCMOS input and drives four LVCMOS/TTL outputs, supplied in a 16-pin TSSOP package. It operates from a 3.3 V supply (3.135 V to 3.465 V), supports frequencies up to 350 MHz with a 2.1 ns propagation delay, and holds output duty cycle around 55%. The LMK00804BPWR draws about 21 mA of quiescent current and is rated for -40°C to 85°C with a 125°C maximum junction temperature.

A clock buffer distributes one reference clock to several destinations without the loading, skew, and reflection problems that come from daisy-chaining or star-wiring an oscillator output directly. Low skew between the four outputs is what makes it usable for synchronous systems, where an FPGA, processor, ADC, and PHY must all see the same clock edge within a tight window. The multiplexed input allows a design to select between a primary and a redundant or test clock source without external switching.
