A high-current, low-resistance load switch such as the TPS22990DMLR connects or disconnects a power rail to a downstream load with minimal voltage drop and controlled inrush. Its 10A rating and source/sink capability suit power gating, rail switching and sequencing on server, networking and high-density digital boards.
