The TMAG5273A1QDBVR is a Texas Instruments low-power linear 3D Hall-effect sensor with an I2C interface, measuring magnetic field on three axes. It operates from a 1.7V to 3.6V supply drawing up to 3mA, with a voltage output type. The TMAG5273A1QDBVR is supplied in a 6-pin SOT-23 package measuring 2.9mm x 1.6mm x 1.1mm and is rated from -40C to 125C.
Three-axis Hall-effect sensors replace mechanical contacts in position and motion sensing: rotary knobs and dials, joysticks, lid and door open/close detection, gear and valve position, and linear slide feedback. Because sensing is contactless, these devices avoid the wear and contamination failures of switches and potentiometers, which is why they appear in appliances, e-bikes, power tools, industrial controls and automotive interiors. The I2C interface lets the host read all three axes and configure the device without additional analogue conditioning circuitry.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
